Gresham Breakfast Lions Club Scholarship

For over two decades, the Gresham Breakfast Lions Club has made a meaningful impact in the Gresham community and beyond. As part of Lions Clubs International—the world’s largest service organization with over 1.4 million members—the club’s mission is to improve lives through service, education, and community engagement. They proudly provide scholarships to local high school seniors, helping to shape the future of Gresham.

In addition to their scholarship program, the club supports the community in many ways, including collecting tens of thousands of eyeglasses through the “Recycle for Sight” program, providing American flags to first graders in the Gresham-Barlow School District, and participating in the “Adopt a Highway” program by maintaining a one-mile stretch of Burnside Street. During the holiday season, they give back to families in need by distributing food baskets and gifts, ensuring no one is forgotten.

The Gresham Breakfast Lions Club is also committed to addressing critical global issues such as vision and hearing impairments, diabetes, and childhood cancers. Their dedication to service and the welfare of the community continues to make a lasting difference, one project at a time.
