Arthur J. Dusdall Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Rochelle Fimmel created this scholarship to honor her uncle, Arthur J. Dusdall whose values aligned with the college’s mission. Arthur J. Dusdall grew up in Northern California where his love of the redwoods and nature was fostered. After serving in the US Coast Guard during World War II, he became an auditor for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and traveled throughout the Pacific Northwest and California. Through his travels he became a life long advocate for land preservation for future generations.

Criteria:
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to qualify for this scholarship.
• Declared major in Natural Resources Technology – Forest Resources (PNRF) Wildlife Resources (PNRW) Natural Resources Technology Certificate (PNRC)
• Must be a second year Natural Resources Technology student (36+ credits completed) when the scholarship takes effect
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA

Requirements:
Once selected, the recipient must meet the following requirements in order to remain eligible for this scholarship.
• Must maintain full-time enrollment at MHCC (6+ credits per term) during each term the scholarship is in effect
• Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as defined by the MHCC Office of Financial Aid (excluding maximum timeframe requirements). Visit https://mhcc.edu/KeepMyAid/ for more information.

Scholarship Details:
• Funds will be distributed equally between fall, winter, and spring terms
• Scholarship funds may be used for tuition and fees only; no cash will be disbursed
