NBCU Academy Scholarship

The NBCU Academy Scholarship is intended to award students in Integrated Media programs and majors.

Criteria.
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to qualify for this scholarship.

• Minimum 2.5 GPA
• Minimum of 6 credits
• Declared major in Integrated Media – Integrated Media: Video (PIMV), Video Digital Assistant Certificate (PVDA), Integrated Media: Broadcasting (PIMB), Broadcasting Digital Assistant (PBDA), Integrated Media: Digital Photography (PIMD), Integrated Media: Graphic Design (PIMG)
• Preference given to students who demonstrate an interest in diversity, equity and inclusion; create content reflective of diverse communities that provide insight into contemporary challenges.

Requirements
Once selected, the recipient must meet the following requirements in order to remain eligible for this scholarship.

• Must maintain at least part-time enrollment at MHCC (6+ credits per term) during each term the scholarship is in effect.
• Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as defined by the MHCC Office of Financial Aid (excluding maximum timeframe requirements). Visit https://mhcc.edu/KeepMyAid/ for more information.

Scholarship Details

• Funds will be distributed during fall term
• Scholarship funds may used for field reporting, equipment, purchases, student housing, tuition subsidies, and textbooks/academic materials for student coursework.

Award amounts are subject to change based on availability of funds.
