Taylur DeWolf "Do Your Best Today" Endowed Scholarship

Taylur DeWolf was an amazing young lady pursuing her goal of a PhD. in the medical research field and was a key member of the Associated Student Government (ASG) at Mt. Hood Community College during the 2011-2012 academic year. Taylur was involved in many important activities such as volunteering in her community, organizing events on the MHCC campus, Girl Scouts, mission trips, cheerleading, and being active in her church. In 2007 Taylur was selected by the City of Sandy Oregon as a Sandy Mountain Festival Princess in recognition of her service. The entire community was deeply affected by her passing on January 27, 2012. Taylur always looked for opportunities to help and encourage others. Taylur’s parents want to continue her legacy of encouraging others and help reduce obstacles for hardworking, goal-oriented students, leading to a college degree.

Criteria:
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to qualify for this scholarship.
• Must have a declared major in an AAOT/ASOT degree-granting program
• Must intend to transfer to a four-year university
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA

Requirements:
Once selected, the recipient must meet the following requirements in order to remain eligible for this scholarship.
• Must maintain full-time enrollment at MHCC (12+ credits per term) during each term the scholarship is in effect
• Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as defined by the MHCC Office of Financial Aid (excluding maximum timeframe requirements). Visit https://mhcc.edu/KeepMyAid/ for more information.
 
Scholarship Details:
• Funds will be disbursed during fall term
• Scholarship funds may be used for tuition and fees only; no cash will be disbursed
